Herb & Ruth Carpenter have over 50 years of combined driving experience. They also have almost as much combined time in the taxi business. They have been doing it long enough that they know how to do it right!

Our Drivers

We feel we have some of the best drivers around the eastern shore. Our customers think so too. Here is a list of some of our drivers and a little bit of info about them.

Day Shift

John - From PG Co., MD. He has been with us from the start and is still making our customers laugh.

Stick - His nick-name suits him as well. We tried to get him to eat junk food but ....

Yale - He used to own a restaurant/bar so now that he is retired he can tell you where the good eats are around here.

Kirt - He's the only one on day shift without gray hair! Nice young man, loves to talk.

Night Shift

Bessie - Our country gal. She is always smiling and laughing. She loves to talk to the customers.

Joe - He's our sports guy and another Redskin fan! Go Skins! He's on the Pickles Pub Shuffleboard team, which came in 2nd for the 2009 season.

Nate - The creator of the recipe for Nate's stuffed pork chops at Harborside Bar & grill. He has a nickname, but you'll have to ask him what it is. Some of the ladies around town might tell you too.

Part Time Drivers

Brian - He is shy so he doesn't talk much until he gets to know you. Or you can get him started by asking who does the song that's playing on the radio.

Juliet - She has a very quick wit and a great smile. Not shy at all.

Teri - She is a hair stylist. She has a shop on 28th St, right around the corner from Mother's Cantina. She is an avid animal lover and owns a horse as well as a couple of dogs and a cat.

Buster - He has become our company mascot of sorts. He was a rescue who is loving life these days.

They estimate his age to be about 5 and think he is a beagle/bassett mix. He is very sweet! He's got really soft, long ears and the cutest face!

He doesn't like vinyl toys, but loves stuffed ones. All of the drivers love him. Some of our regular customers stop in to see him from time to time as well.
